Father and Daughter team Andrew and Elizabeth Moore set up Teddy Bear Studio in February 2024. Utilising Andrew's design experience and Elizabeth's teddy bear making skills, new teddy bears are made to order in almost any shape, size, fur type and colour, from our mini bears at 10cm tall (and can be smaller) to our much larger bears at 30cm and taller. Traditional styles are our speciality but almost any style can be made.
We were soon asked to repair teddy bears so started Worcestershire Teddy Bear Hospital. Most of our work is now repairing teddy bears but we are soon to release a new range of mini character bears so visit our sister site

Vintage Bear Restoration
Specialising in the restoration of vintage teddy bears, we honour their history and craftsmanship with meticulous care.
Every teddy bear is different so we will discuss options with you before mutually deciding on what can and should be done.
Past repairs that tell the story are often incorporated into our work preserving the story of your old friend.
We will never guarantee to make your old friend like new, but we will make him a lot better and preserve him for years to come.
So, if you have an old beloved friend who needs a little attention (or a lot) then you have come to the right place.
Craftsmanship Excellence
Elizabeth and Andrew bring a touch of artistry to every repair, ensuring each teddy bear will remain by your side for years to come.
Work can include (but are not restricted to) cleaning, seam repair, new paw pads, joint replacement or retightening, restuffing, new eyes and faces, growlers and squeakers replaced, new limbs made, fur cleaned and brushed... the list can go on.
In fact the only thing we can't do is put worn out fur back on!
Distance appraisals can be made by sending detailed photographs and a description of the bear, any damage and what you would like to have done to us by email. Dont forget to include a phone number in case we need to talk to you to get a little more information.

Bears for repair can be brought to us in person by appointment only or posted for long distance repairs.
Always send your old friends recorded delivery, tracked and insured.
Please note: as of November 1st 2024, we are temporarily suspending our teddy bear repair service because of a our wife/mother's terminal illness. We will answer enquiries but will not be commencing repairs during this difficult time as we work from home and cannot have visitors at present. We thank you for your patience and understanding and will post here when normal service resumes.

For all enquiries please include a telephone number so we can contact you should we need more information, a description of the bear and the work you would like us to carry out.
A more detailed message can be emailed to teddybears@teddybearstudio.co.uk Please include photographs of your bear full front and back as well as any specific damage you would like us to repair. Remember to tell us how big your bear is (standing) and if known the material and stuffing. For the stuffing, does the bear feel hard? If so it is probably wood wool. If it feels soft but grainy (like sand is inside) it is probably foam that is degrading (and toxic!). An approximate age of the bear would be useful.
We will provide an estimate for your repair. If this is acceptable you can bring your bear to us or send recorded and tracked (this is safest). When we receive your bear a firm quotation will be sent. Should you decide not to go ahead your bear will be returned registered and recorded delivery the cost for which you will be responsible. As an indication, the average 23cm teddy bear costs approximately £15 with full tracking when sent with Royal Mail.
